Sales Manager Banking BeNe

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the account management of strategic banking customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Together with the Marketing & Sales Director, you agree on the commercial strategy and translate it into long-term goals, in order to make it a commercial success. You think creatively and innovatively and you have a clear vision. You manage the banking team and you report directly to the Marketing & Sales Director.

What else?

  • You are responsible for an excellent execution of the operational and tactical contract implementation between Brink's and its banking accounts in Belgium and the Netherlands, and you take the lead in this process.
  • You negotiate and make contract agreements at executive level and ensure an excellent customer relationship.
  • You identify and support the team in achieving the set targets and you also make a significant contribution to achieve these targets. To reach the goals, you will create an optimal organization.
  • You participate in tendering processes and examine the feasibility and possibilities.
  • You draw up an annual plan and translate the objectives into efficient, qualitative and operational goals. Of course, you are responsible for the realization of these goals, together with your team. To make this happen, you will ensure an efficient organizational structure, design effective work processes and create a positive working environment.
  • You identify, develop and build relationships with colleagues within our organization in order to create new services.
  • You follow the realization of the annual plan and will take action if needed. Your input and advice is crucial for the Marketing & Sales Director.
  • You manage your team members and ensure an optimal team composition. You are responsible for conducting various conversations associated with the HR cycle such as performance, absenteeism and assessment interviews. You consult with HR about the inflow, advancement and outflow of employees.


Your qualities

Connecting with people gives you energy. You are creative and innovative and you have a clear vision in mind. You love to negotiate and know how to get results. In addition, you can plan & organize well and you are strong in guiding and coaching a team.

Besides the above, you also have:

  • A completed Master's degree in business administration, economics or similar.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant and comparable work experience in a commercial position.
  • Experience in guiding and coaching a team.
  • Experience with complex 'Managed Services', logistics services and outsourcing is a must. A background in cash/payment and the banking industry is preferred.
  • A broad network and are happy to expand it.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbally and written.
